How It All Started
This journey began long before Fluffs‑R‑Us had a name. It started with Gaurav — our founder — sweeping hay in a rescue centre on a quiet weekend morning, chatting to bunnies as if they were old friends, and learning firsthand just how much work goes into caring for animals who can’t speak for themselves.
Animals have always been part of his life. Tiny hamsters who taught him patience. A borrowed dog who treated him like family. A cat who confidently took over the household. And foster cats who needed a safe place to land while waiting for someone to choose them forever.
Week after week, Gaurav volunteered at a local rescue, cleaning spaces for bunnies and cats, listening to the stories of the animals and the people who cared for them. He saw the challenges rescues faced — the admin, the lack of visibility, the constant pressure to do more with less.
There was a gap. And instead of waiting for someone else to fix it, he decided to build something himself.
